"The bonfire marked the beginning of the road...", the patriotic song was heard from a beautifully decorated square, and as in a time machine we moved to the scorched Bayamo... or perhaps a little further back: to the vain attempt to break, in a bonfire, the rebelliousness of an Indian. Genesis of a Revolution with more than 100 years of struggle and that very soon will reach a new anniversary of its triumph. The Antillean people, with 65 reasons to celebrate, gathered in the cultural square El Malecon.
The occasion was propitious to recognize different organisms and organizations for their outstanding participation in the collective effort to achieve a better Antilla.
The triumph of January was also celebrated through art, with the participation of the Movimiento de Artistas Aficionados de la Casa de Cultura "Adelaida del Mármol" (Amateur Artists Movement of the House of Culture "Adelaida del Mármol") and invited guests.
The central words were in charge of Javiesky Valentín Sablón, First Secretary of the Party in the territory, who congratulated the people and summoned the competition of all to obtain better results in the coming year.
